Medicine Use Review
 
We are now working with doctors to help patients get a much more interactive service when it comes to taking medication. It has been found that many patients are not always sure what the medecines are for or they suffer from side effects from them and have decided to stop taking them but don't want to tell the doctor. Some people don't think their medication is doing them any good and may even be making them worse.
 
This is where your local pharmacist comes in. When you come to one of our pharmacies and ask for a medicine use review, once we have checked your medical history is on our records we can give you a free consultation about one or more of your medicines. We understand that you want to have the ability to make an informed decision about your medical treatments so you don't always have to rely on the doctor to tell you what's best for you all the time, although we do suggest you consider the doctors opinion as a very important factor.

We can provide you with a comprehensive service when you are planning any trips abroad, with help putting together a first aid kit for scrapes and cuts to supplying vaccination and malaria prevention and skin protection products.

The Morning After Pill

(i.e Emergency Hormonal Contraception - EHC)

 

If you have unprotected sex and are worried about becoming pregnant, you can buy it from your local pharmacy. If you are under 18 you may also be albe to get it for free from certain pharmacies, just come in and speak to your pharmacist in confidence.

 

We also have a range of pregnancy tests starting from about £5 for you to check when have been sexually active and your period is late.
